Job summary

Sombra Eatery & Lounge in East Greenwich, RI is hiring friendly servers and bartenders to join our team. Join our team to provide warm hospitality, take orders, and craft great drinks in a fast-paced setting.

Experience is preferred but we will train the right person. You’ll work with a supportive team to deliver memorable dining experiences and ensure guests leave happy.

Qualifications

• At least one year of restaurant or bar experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, attentive, and genuine hospitality to every guest.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and provide knowledgeable menu recommendations.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages while maintaining quality and consistency.
• Anticipate guests' needs and create a memorable dining experience.
• Work closely with fellow servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service.
• Accurately process payments and manage guest checks using our POS system (Toast).
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked service areas.
• Assist with opening, closing, and daily sidework responsibilities.
• Follow all food safety and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
