Job summary

Harbor View Hotel seeks a guest-focused team member for our dining service to ensure exceptional hospitality and smooth operation. You will assist with clearing tables, resetting settings, and maintaining efficient stations throughout all meal periods.

Ideal candidates are energetic, possess strong verbal communication skills, and can work a flexible schedule including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. Authorized to work in the United States is required.

Qualifications

• High-energy, exceptional customer service and ability to work as a team.
• Proficient verbal communication skills and ability to read instructions on a computer app.
• Commitment to work 20-40 hours per week.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include early morning, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to repetitively stand, walk, bend, kneel, and ascend/descend stairs and lift over 20 pounds.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Transport and clear used tableware from the dining room to the dishwashing area.
• Prepare the table for resetting and promptly reset all service ware as prescribed.
• Fold napkins for all meal periods throughout the day.
• Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen, and condiments.
• Assist other restaurant personnel when needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
