Job summary

Lowline Hotel is seeking a Restaurant Server to deliver exceptional guest service, take orders, greet guests, and ensure smooth dining experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have restaurant or customer-service experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work weekends/holidays, with a team-oriented approach and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic math skills for handling payments and checks.
• Knowledge of alcohol laws and responsible service practices.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed.
• Strong oral communication skills and a customer/client-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests.
• Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables or serve customers seated at counters.
• Serve food and drinks promptly and courteously.
• Prepare and present itemized checks, process payments, and operate cash registers.
• Check identification to verify minimum age requirements for alcohol service.
• Set up and clear tables efficiently to maintain a clean dining area.
• Assist with additional duties such as setting up tables, clearing dishes, and providing excellent guest service.
