The Hilton Philadelphia at Penn's Landing is uniquely located directly on the Delaware River Waterfront at Penn's Landing in downtown Philadelphia. It features 350 well-appointed guest rooms and 24,000 sq ft of meeting space, offering an experience that's hard to match. Position Summary

As a Restaurant Server at Hilton at Penn's Landing, you play a crucial role in creating exceptional guest experiences. You will provide attentive, personalized service, guide guests through beverage options, and ensure their satisfaction. You will also maintain the bar area, handle orders accurately, and contribute to the overall success of our establishment.

Key Responsibilities

• This position is SEASONAL (Summer time)
• Comply with Pyramid Global Hospitality standards and regulations for safe and efficient operations.
• Meet certification requirements such as Alcohol Awareness and Food Handlers Safety.
• Understand the organization of the restaurant and lounge, and the roles of each staff member.
• Answer questions about menu selections.
• Coordinate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, re-cook orders, and product availability.
• Communicate dietary needs, allergies, and special requests to the kitchen.
• Record transactions accurately in the MICROS system.
• Check with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware, etc.
• Complete closing duties, including restocking and turning off lights.
• Present accurate checks and process payments.
• Have thorough knowledge of menus and specials.
• Serve guests in a warm, friendly, professional manner.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables as needed.
• Operate the P.O.S. system effectively.
• Perform cashiering functions and end-of-shift paperwork.
• Follow opening and closing procedures and side work duties.
• Keep tables and stands stocked, tidy, and clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
