SUMMARY OF POSITION

Provides friendly and efficient service in a timely manner to guests according to company policies, procedures, programs, and performance standards. Shows guests genuine hospitality while providing them with a memorable experience. Looks professional and shows sincerity with a positive, friendly attitude. Performs all duties to maximize guest satisfaction and quality of work environment as directed by Manager on Duty.

POSITION ACTIVITIES AND TASKS

• Guest Interactions
• Reports to work well-groomed, in clean and proper uniform and practices good personal hygiene at all times.
• Greets guests in a courteous and respectable way when seated at station.
• Welcomes guests immediately upon seating with a non-scripted greeting
• Uses acquired menu knowledge to offer suggestions, answer questions, and anticipate guests’ needs.
• Delivers hot food, checks orders for accuracy, appearance, and temperature, and delivers to the table immediately.
• Provides Perkins Service with genuine hospitality, personality, and specific suggestions at every step. Actively engages guests, addresses concerns, and ensures 100% satisfaction.
• Keeps tables, stations, pantry line area, and dining room clean; completes assigned cleaning duties.
• Attends to guests’ additional needs or requests
• Maintains dining area through pre-bussing, detailing, etc.
• Maintains cleanliness of stations and pantry.
• Performs side work during downtime, such as rolling silverware, restocking, and bussing tables.
• Executes the service cycle and team responsibilities at all times to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Communicates with Manager on Duty and coworkers regarding issues and deficiencies.
• Keeps management informed of problems and proposes solutions.
• Processes orders and operates POS equipment according to policies.
• Anticipates and corrects system breakdowns to maximize guest satisfaction.
• Assists team members as needed.
• Maintains service stations, garnish line, service bar, and common areas.
• Restocks service station, garnish line, condiments, and silverware.
• Cleans mirrors and artifacts.
• Runs food for servers to ensure hot food is served hot.
• Maintains cleanliness of the dining room and pantry area.
