Job summary

Des Moines Sheraton, located in West Des Moines, IA, is seeking a part-time server to join the Atrium Hospitality team. You will greet guests, present menus, and take and deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms with care and timeliness.

Ideal candidates have prior customer service experience, Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness certification or willingness to certify within 60 days, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, present menus, answer questions, and suggest food and beverage options.
• Take and deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms with care and timeliness.
• Accurately process guest payments and report tips for tax compliance.
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked wait station and handle VIP amenity setups.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures in coordination with the kitchen.

What We Are Looking For

• Prior customer service experience (server or cashier experience is a plus)
• Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness certified or willing to become certified within 60 days
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull up to 20 lbs, and stand/walk for the full shift
• Friendly and professional demeanor with strong communication skills
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
