Job summary

Fitler Club in Philadelphia is seeking a friendly Restaurant Server to greet members, take and deliver orders, and ensure an exceptional dining experience. You will be the face of our restaurant, maintain clean tables, present menus, and serve food and beverages with a quick, courteous attitude.

Responsibilities include attending to guests on entry, taking orders, collaborating with kitchen and bar staff, handling payments, and upholding club confidentiality.

Qualifications

Reports to: Director of Food and Beverage/Dept Manager

Overview: The Server will take and deliver orders. You’ll be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our members' experience. Restaurant server responsibilities include ensuring our tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus, and serving food and beverages. You need to be quick on your feet and have a polite and friendly attitude. If you enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced workplace, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
• Attend to customers upon entrance
• Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages
• Take and serve orders
• Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
• Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
• Issue bills and accept payment
• Maintain confidentiality of all members and Club information
• Follows grooming and uniform standards established for this role
• Working as a team, effectively communicating with management and co-workers Ensure that member and associates areas are maintained in a safe and secure environment Performs all other duties as directed by immediate supervisors
