DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Melbourne Beach Oceanfront is seeking a bubbly, high-energy server to provide exceptional dining experiences to guests. The role focuses on friendly service, accurate order handling, and timely delivery in a fast-paced hotel restaurant environment.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication, guest-relations, and etiquette, with knowledge of liquor regulations and POS operations.

Qualificações

• Must hold a current Food Handler Card.
• Knowledge of all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards and etiquette.
• Ability to remember and promote menu items.

Responsabilidades

• Check station setup for cleanliness before, during, and after shifts.
• Record guest orders, repeat for accuracy, and input into POS.
• Deliver orders with condiments after kitchen completion.
• Ensure compliance with liquor regulations for minors and intoxicated guests.
• Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction.
• Suggest desserts and specialty coffees as requested.
• Perform side work and general cleaning per health standards.
• Present the check promptly and follow company policies.

DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Melbourne Beach Oceanfront has an exciting opportunity for a bubbly, high-energy individual to provide exceptional and a friendly dining experience to our Guests. The ideal candidate is a motivated, social team player who thrives on delivering top-tier service, making guests feel like VIPs, and handling a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:

• Greet the guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain any specials and/or restaurant promotions for guest awareness.
• Check station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness.
• Record the details of the order from the guests, repeating the order to the guests to check for accuracy.
• Input the order into the Point-of-Sale computer to inform the kitchen of the particulars in the order being placed.
• When complete, retrieve order from kitchen, confirm its accuracy, and deliver to guests along with appropriate condiments.
• Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Replenish beverages as necessary and check with guests for overall satisfaction.
• Market and serve upon request any dessert items or specialty coffees.
• Perform all assigned side work to include replenishing condiments and restocking.
• Perform any general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned to adhere to health standards.
• Present the check to guest promptly.
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
• Follows safety and security procedures and rules.
• Knows department fire prevention and emergency procedures.
• Utilizes protective equipment.
• Reports unsafe conditions to supervisor/manager.
• Reports accidents, injuries, near-misses, property damage or loss to supervisor/manager.
• Provides for a safe work environment by following all safety and security procedures and rules.
• All team members must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance. (Specific standards outlined in team member handbook).
• Perform any related duties as requested by supervisor/manager.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Hold a current Food Handler Card
• Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
• Ability to comprehend and apply written product labeling instructions to enable the safe application of products and processes within the hotel.
• Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items.

Physical Demands:

• Prolonged Standing/Walking: Servers are on their feet for 6–10+ hour shifts, often walking thousands of steps.
• Lifting and Carrying: Lifting trays of food and drinks (often weighing 25 lbs or more) requires strength, stability, and balance.
• Repetitive Motions: Frequent reaching (overhead and below shoulders), bending, stooping, pouring, and wiping tables throughout the shift.
• High-Intensity Pacing: The job requires quick movement between the kitchen and dining area to ensure food is served at the right temperature.
