The Marcus Corporation, via Hilton Madison Monona Terrace, invites you to join as a Server in Madison, WI. This role offers full-time or part-time evening and weekend shifts with a starting wage of $8.00 per hour plus tips, and opportunities to grow within Marcus Hotels & Resorts.

As a Server, you will greet guests, take orders, serve with Marcus standards, maintain a clean dining area, and collaborate with the kitchen and team.

Formación

• Restaurant experience or customer service background encouraged.

• English proficiency (spoken and written) required.

What You’ll Do

• Greet guests with warmth and professionalism
• Take orders accurately and enter them into the POS system
• Serve food and beverages according to Hilton and Marcus standards
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests
• Maintain clean, organized tables and dining areas
• Communicate with team members and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
• Resolve guest concerns when possible—or elevate to supervisors as needed
• Support restaurant cleanliness and assist with restocking as needed

What You Bring

• Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service setting is a plus—but not required
• Friendly, reliable, and team-oriented with strong communication skills
• Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable using a Point of Sale (POS) system (training available)
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods
• Availability to work weekends, early mornings, or evening shifts
• English proficiency (spoken and written) to support guests and follow instructions
