Summary of Position

Provides friendly and efficient service in a timely manner to guests according to company policies, procedures, programs, and performance standards. Shows guests genuine hospitality to provide a memorable experience. Maintains a professional appearance and positive attitude. Performs duties to maximize guest satisfaction and work environment quality as directed by the Manager on Duty.

Position Activities and Tasks

• Engage with guests professionally and courteously upon seating
• Greet guests immediately upon seating with a genuine, non-scripted greeting
• Use menu knowledge to suggest items, answer questions, and anticipate guest needs
• Deliver hot food promptly, checking for accuracy, appearance, and temperature
• Provide excellent Perkins service with genuine hospitality and personality, actively engaging guests and resolving concerns
• Keep tables, stations, and common areas clean, completing assigned cleaning duties
• Attend to guest requests and needs
• Maintain cleanliness of dining area, including pre-bussing and detailing
• Perform side work such as rolling silverware, restocking stations, and bussing tables during downtime
• Follow the service cycle and team responsibilities to ensure guest satisfaction
• Communicate with management about issues or concerns and propose solutions
• Process orders and operate POS systems accurately
• Assist team members and maintain cleanliness of service stations and pantry
• Restock and prepare service stations and garnish lines
• Ensure food is served hot and maintain overall cleanliness
