We are hiring a Hotel Restaurant/Food Service Server.

Pay rate: $9/hr

Join us at The Rooftop at Exchange Place, located atop the Hyatt House Jersey City, as we relaunch our rooftop bar, Terrace restaurant, and banquet space. We seek a talented leader to oversee this exciting phase and develop a team of service-minded professionals.

Enjoy stunning views of Manhattan, the Hudson River, and the Statue of Liberty while working in a vibrant environment that offers premium cocktails, food, location, views, and service.

The Terrace Dining Room and Lounge provide an upscale dining experience with the same breathtaking views. We also feature over 7,500 sq ft of banquet space, ideal for corporate events, weddings, and social gatherings.

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform guest service in the dining room or food outlets, ensuring all guests are seated at clean, properly set tables.
• Provide prompt attention, take and serve food orders, and follow up for guest satisfaction.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, presentation standards, and temperature controls.
• Maintain a calm demeanor during busy periods and handle guest concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Monitor outlet operations, assist in resolving guest issues, and ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Maintain punctuality and a clean workspace.
• Engage with guests to understand and respond to their needs with clear communication.
• Adhere to brand and company dress codes.
