Description

DoubleTree by the Galleria is seeking a passionate and outgoing restaurant server. Candidates with previous restaurant serving experience who want to work with a great team are encouraged to apply by submitting their resume.

Abilities:

• At least one (1) year of restaurant serving experience required
• Bartending experience highly preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written
• Current TABC and Food Handlers certification
• Ability to stand for at least 8 hours
• Ability to carry 15-20 pounds
• Flexible availability, including holidays and weekends

Job Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests warmly and seat them in the restaurant
• Check food quality, serve guests promptly and courteously, and replenish beverages
• Maintain cleanliness and perform opening and closing side work duties
• Engage with guests, address concerns, and resolve complaints regarding food and beverage/dining experience
