Job summary

Embassy Suites by Hilton Chicago North Shore Deerfield is hiring a Restaurant Server. You will assist guests, ensure table setups, help with menu selections, and maintain a professional appearance.

Eligible benefits follow qualification periods, including medical/dental/vision, 401k match, employee discounts, paid leave, vacation accrual, and seven paid holidays. Candidates should have a current food handlers permit, be able to stand for long periods, and lift 25 pounds; prior restaurant service

Responsibilities

• Assist guests in a sincere and courteous manner to ensure guest satisfaction
• Ensure tables are prepared with condiments, candles, napkins, service plates and utensils
• Help patrons select food and beverages by presenting menu, offering cocktails and aperitifs, suggesting courses, explaining menu items, and answering food preparation questions
• Maintain a high level of professional appearance and demeanor
