Job Title: Restaurant Server

Pay Rate: $12 - $14 per hour

Job Purpose

The purpose of a Restaurant Server is to serve food and beverages to guests according to hotel brand standards, aiming to deliver outstanding guest service and maintain financial profitability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Ensure knowledge of menu items, promotions, and specials, including ingredients and preparation methods.
2. Respond promptly, friendly, and efficiently to guest requests.
3. Take guest food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system.
4. Retrieve and deliver orders in a timely manner.
5. Maintain guest satisfaction throughout the meal service.
6. Serve alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages in compliance with regulations.
7. Keep the serving station well-stocked.
8. Perform side work and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
9. Maintain regular attendance and punctuality, adhering to work, break, and meal periods.
10. Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including dress code compliance.
11. Perform any additional duties as requested by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent, with 1-2 years of related experience or training.
• Ability to read, understand, and write simple instructions and correspondence in English.

Work Environment

Indoor setting with minimal to moderate noise levels typical of a hotel environment.

Physical Demands

Position requires standing and walking more than two-thirds of the time, reaching with hands and arms, and lifting or pushing up to 50 pounds. Adherence to safety procedures is essential.
