The ideal candidate has 5+ years of estimator experience and is proficient with Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Sage Estimating, or ProEst. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a construction estimator.
• Restaurant and retail project focus preferred.
• Proficient with estimating software and cost breakdowns.
• Familiar with reading architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of building codes and industry standards.

Responsabilités

• Review architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and other project documents to prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, cost breakdowns, and bid proposals for restaurant and retail construction projects.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids for accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, clients, and subcontractors to ensure alignment on scope, pricing, and schedule.
• Identify potential risks, cost-saving opportunities, and value engineering alternatives.
• Maintain and update historical cost data and databases of vendors/subcontractors.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and bid reviews as necessary.
• Track and manage changes to project scope and update estimates accordingly.
