Job summary

Merkin Vineyards Hilltop Winery & Trattoria in Cottonwood, AZ is seeking talented cooks to join our established team. You will prepare fresh food, set up stations, and help execute the menu across breads, pastas, entrees, salads and wood-fired pizzas.

Two years or more in a full-service restaurant is preferred; Yavapai County Food Worker Certificate is required. We offer competitive wages, health insurance eligibility, and vacation pay.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prep: Prepare fresh food products for daily use.
• Setting Up: Supply all stations to support daily systems to enable efficient and consistent culinary practices and procedures.
• Menu Execution: Order, prep, cook, plate and send all items on the menu.
• Quality Control: Be accountable for food items meeting or exceeding taste and plating profiles.
• Food Safety: Cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the work area.
