Job summary

The Global Ambassador is a 141-room hotel at the heart of the Phoenix area, offering a dynamic hospitality environment. The restaurant porter role supports both back and front of house during service, requiring a positive attitude, strong communication, and reliability. You will help maintain clean dining ware, stock stations, and ensure smooth service flow.

Pay rate is $17 per hour. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced setting and enjoy teamwork in a luxury hospitality

Responsibilities

• Polish silverware, glassware, and chinaware.
• Remove and replace glass racks in the dish area.
• Stock server-stations with glassware and silverware.
• Stock chinaware on the expo line.
• Remove dirty linen bag during service and retrieve clean linen.
• Communicate with management about shortages of glassware, plateware and silverware.
• Access stewarding storeroom to maintain pars on plateware, glassware and flatware.

The restaurant porter is an important position that supports both the back and front of house before, throughout, and after service. This position requires someone who is positive, self-motivated, and a good communicator. Also, stamina, efficiency, and a good work ethic will be important for the position.

What You’ll Do

• Properly polishing silverware, glassware, and chinaware.
• Removing and replacing glass racks in the dish area.
• Help stock server-stations with glassware and silverware.
• Help stock chinaware on the expo line.
• Remove dirty linen bag throughout service and retrieve clean linen for server and support staff.
• Communication with management about glassware, plateware, and silverware shortages
• Access stewarding storeroom to maintain pars on plateware, glassware, and flatware
