Job summary

Flynn Group’s Applebee’s is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily operations, coach the team, and ensure every guest has an outstanding experience in a fast-paced casual-dining setting.

You’ll handle inventory, scheduling, training, safety, and compliance, while addressing guest feedback and maintaining high standards. Flexible shifts including weekends are required, with opportunities for growth and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years restaurant management experience, casual dining preferred.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
• Serve Safe Food and Alcohol certifications (a plus).
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely, friendly service and uphold Applebee’s standards.
• Manage inventory, scheduling, and cost controls.
• Recruit, train, and develop team members.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and health compliance.
• Address guest feedback and resolve issues promptly.
• Support operational excellence from line checks to paperwork.
• Step in to cooking, bartending, or greeting guests as needed.
