Job summary

Christiana-Seasons Pizza & Restaurant is seeking an Assistant Manager in Wilmington, DE to coordinate and participate in all restaurant operations. You will support team members during shifts and ensure issues are resolved while maintaining safe, professional operations.

Responsibilities include hiring, scheduling, training, motivating, and supervising staff, directing customer service, and managing food and labor budgets.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma required. Undergraduate degree preferred, preferably in Hospitality.
• Experience: At least two years of experience as an employee at Seasons Pizza, or three years of experience as a supervisor or manager in a restaurant or food-oriented retail environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Follow opening and closing checklist procedures.
• Review the management log book daily.
• Knowledgeable in all position tasks and able to cover shifts as needed.
• Able to train all front of house team members to work their stations efficiently and safely.
• Ensure all front of house employees are promptly answering phones and welcoming guests to provide quick and effective customer service.
• Hold team members accountable for performance and policy compliance; discipline with documentation when needed.
• Able to prepare and cook all menu items according to spec.
• Follow safe food handling and production procedures per health regulations.
• Complete cash handling during shifts.
• Assist HR in onboarding and ensure compliance of employee paperwork.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and training of new team members.
• Attend all company meetings for management.
