Job summary

7-Eleven in Irving, TX invites you to join its Summer 2027 Restaurant Field Operations Internship. You’ll spend time at our Store Support Center and in-store experiences, building hands-on knowledge across operations, sales, and profitability projects.

Under a dedicated coach, you’ll collaborate with Store Leaders, Area Leaders, and cross-functional teams, present a final project, and gain exposure to real-world merchandising and guest service best practices.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Masters degree related field and graduating December 2027 or May 2028.
• Strong interest in working in restaurant/retail convenience industry.
• Proficient inMicrosoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of retail and management principles.
• Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously, stay organized, and focus on details.
• Hospitality/food service, retail, and management principles.

Responsibilities

• Experience an orientation designed to introduce you to 7-Eleven history, culture, strategy, and structure at our Store Support Center in Irving, TX.
• Complete a 2-3 week in-store experience where you will learn about the company's operational standards, policies, and procedures.
• Attend 1 week of virtual classroom training to gain an understanding of the Regional Restaurant Leader role and responsibilities and foundational operation principles.
• Build upon your foundational restaurant-level knowledge through a Regional Restaurant Leader shadow experience where you will begin learning different ways to support and consult operators to help them increase sales and generate more gross profit.
• Complete a project assignment where you will focus on building sales and gross profit through effective operating principles and execution.
• Present a case study on key learnings from the project assignment.
