Job summary

Tim Hortons US is seeking a New Restaurant Opening Trainer to lead hands-on training and operational readiness for new openings. You will support team members, managers, and franchisees through pre-opening prep and post-opening stabilization to help each restaurant become strong and self-sufficient.

You will train team members, partner with restaurant teams and franchisees, lead the pre-opening plan, and coach during initial openings to ensure speed of service and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of food service/QSR experience is an asset.
• Willingness and enthusiasm to travel across the USA for several weeks at a time.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• University degree and/or college diploma in Operations Management, Hospitality, or Commerce is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Train and direct Tim Hortons Restaurant Team Members during new restaurant openings with coaching and feedback.
• Partner with Restaurant Teams, Managers and franchisees to support opening readiness.
• Lead the pre-opening training plan and ensure readiness meets operational standards.
• Ensure teams complete the pre-opening operational assessment after training.
• Provide post-opening coaching to stabilize operations and help teams become self-sufficient.
• Support corporate restaurants and various Tim Hortons departments as needed.
• Participate in Tim Hortons events within the community as required.
