Job summary

Catawba Two Kings Casino in Kings Mountain, NC is seeking a Sports Bar Manager to direct the full operation of our 73-seat sports bar and sportsbook, including extended hours from 10am–2am daily and weekend service.

You will lead FOH and bar staffing, coordinate with culinary and beverage teams, ensure compliance and guest experience, and drive premium cocktails and elevated bar food. Must hold ServSafe certifications and be eligible for a gaming license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of restaurant and bar management experience.

The Sports Bar Manager directs and oversees the full operation of Catawba Two Kings Casino's Sports Bar, a 73-seat sports bar and sportsbook destination that serves as the property's primary elevated bar-food venue and signature burger concept. The Sports Bar features full bar service running 10am–2am daily, with restaurant service Monday–Friday from 3pm–11pm and Saturday–Sunday from 11am–11pm, with flex staffing for high-volume sporting events and sportsbook guest demand.

This leader will build an energetic, sports-forward hospitality environment, manage both the food and beverage operation, and deliver an elevated bar experience with premium cocktails and creative bar food.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Bar & Restaurant Operations

• Oversee all FOH and bar operations including restaurant service periods and extended bar hours (10am–2am daily).
• Recruit, hire, train, schedule, coach, and develop hosts, servers, bartenders, barbacks, food runners, and bussers.
• Lead bar program execution including cocktail preparation, premium spirits service, and elevated bar food delivery standards.
• Manage event-driven staffing for high-volume sporting events, pay-per-view events, and sportsbook-related traffic spikes.
• Work with Director of F&B, Marketing and sponsors on programming for marque sporting events.
• Ensure daily pre-shift meetings are conducted across all shifts; communicate sporting events, specials, and operational priorities.
• Oversee Agilysys InfoGenesis POS accuracy, cash handling, and nightly audit completion.

Culinary & Beverage Coordination

• Coordinate with the Executive Chef and culinary team on bar food menu execution, product consistency, and feature programming.
• Maintain bar inventory, par levels, and order accuracy; coordinate with the Director of Beverage on supply and program needs.

Compliance & Guest Experience

• Monitor and enforce food safety, sanitation, and alcohol compliance including Dram Shop Act standards.
• Handle guest feedback, VIP sportsbook guest coordination, and service recovery.
• Maintain facility standards including cleanliness of bar areas, televisions, AV equipment, and seating.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 4 years of restaurant and bar management experience, preferably in a sports bar or high-volume bar-restaurant concept required.
• Experience managing an extended-hours bar operation including late-night and early morning service preferred.
• Must hold ServSafe Food Handler and ServSafe Alcohol Certification prior to starting the position.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Catawba Gaming License.
• Must adhere to all Catawba Gaming Commission regulations, company policies, and procedures.
• Must have the ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during service and bar operations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work in a fast-paced bar, restaurant, and casino environment.
• May occasionally be exposed to secondhand cigarette smoke and high noise levels.
• Must meet all casino employment and background check requirements.
