Job summary

The Whataburger Of Mesquite, Inc. Manager role partners with the General Manager to lead the team and achieve health, safety, recruiting, budgeting, marketing, and sales goals.

You will set customer service targets using the sales and marketing plan to drive traffic and sales, while supporting recruitment, development, and training of team members. You will ensure a clean, safe, and energy-efficient operation each shift, and participate in a skills development program to obtain position-specific

Responsibilities

• Leadership and Communication: Protects and promotes the Whataburger Brand, schedules training, maintains professional relationships, communicates complaints and directions, and presents ideas to leadership.
• People: Demonstrates family value proposition, on-the-spot training, evaluates performance, develops individual development plans, trains and mentors trainers, leads by example, rewards top performers.
• System: Uses sales plan to set goals, maintains payroll/training records, enforces uniform and clock-in, ensures safety and equipment maintenance, implements performance standards, reviews food production and inventory, completes admin tasks, processes invoices and reports, participates in shift planning and communication.
• Customer: Builds community relationships, greets customers, seeks feedback, ensures POP accuracy, maintains clean exterior/interior and staff appearance.
• Finance: Manages assets with prudent cash handling, controls labor costs, achieves GOP targets, identifies sales-increasing activities.
• Physical Requirements: Lifts up to 50 lbs, stands for shift, reads orders, handles cleaning and safety processes, and meets OSAT/TTRO goals.
