Hawaiian Bros in Gretna, NE is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations during scheduled shifts. You will support the General Manager and Assistant General Manager in achieving sales and profit targets through applying company policies, procedures, and performance standards.

You will help schedule staff, manage inventories, train new employees, and coach crew to meet customer service standards while protecting financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document crew member performance; support development
• Identify employee concerns and communicate with AGM
• Educate and empower crew to solve guest issues
• Educate and coach crew to follow regulations and meet service standards
• Support financial objectives by motivating staff and implementing marketing strategies
• Schedule shifts balancing work/life and business needs
• Manage clock-ins/outs and breaks; hold staff accountable for tardiness
• Assist with inventory, deliveries, and cost calculations
• Develop and motivate Trainers and Team Leads; evaluate performance
• Ensure compliance with productivity and service standards
• Demonstrate adaptability and lead direct reports through changes
• Execute operations with strict adherence to quality, safety, and sanitation standards
• Maintain equipment and communicate maintenance needs
• Identify operational issues and communicate to AGM
• Attend weekly store meetings and share input for best practices
• Assist in coordination and execution of new initiatives
• Support financial performance and document cash, receipts, and expenses
• Prepare and review financial reports
