Border Foods LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager in Iowa to lead daily restaurant operations, build a strong team, and deliver great food with friendly service while upholding our core values.

The role requires 1 year of restaurant/retail experience, ServeSafe certification, and the ability to work 50 hours per week, including early mornings, evenings and some holidays. We offer top pay, a generous bonus program, and education benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year restaurant or retail experience.
• Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training.
• Proven track record of successful hiring and retention.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, late nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Non-exempt management position; minimum 50 hours per week.
• ServeSafe Certified.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of the entire restaurant and build a strong team.
• Ensure customers receive great food and friendly service.
• Uphold Border Foods core values in day-to-day operations.
