Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, ensuring high standards of service, cleanliness, and efficiency. You will be responsible for managing staff, enforcing restaurant policies, and maintaining the facility. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with excellent communication skills, a solutions-oriented mindset, a deep understanding of guest expectations, and a dedication to promoting a positive, team-focused culture. Must be fully available and able to work on weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Assist in coordinating the entire restaurant operation, including front-of-house and back-of-house.
  2. Deliver superior guest services and ensure customer satisfaction.
  3. Respond efficiently to customer complaints.
  4. Enforce and offer the best quality of products possible.
  5. Organize and supervise shifts.
  6. Appraise personnel’s performance and provide feedback to keep them motivated and productive.
  7. Estimate consumption, forecast requirements, and maintain inventory.
  8. Track compliance with sanitation and safety rules and regulations.
  9. Control costs and reduce waste.
  10. Promote and publicize the brand effectively.
  11. Nurture a positive working environment and lead by example as a restaurant supervisor.
  12. Track operations and initiate corrective actions as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 21 years old and have earned a High School diploma or GED.
  • 2 or more years of restaurant management experience managing a team of 15 or more employees, with frequent guest interaction and coaching employees for growth.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service management.
  • Extensive knowledge of food and beverage operations.
  • Strong financial management skills.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Experience with Windows, MS Office, POS systems, and inventory control systems is a plus.
  • Ability to understand and follow specific recipes, processes, and systems with precision.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to follow directions and delegate tasks appropriately.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills; bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry at least 30 lbs. and stand for 8+ hours.
