Salary: $30.00 per hour

City Experiences is seeking an Event Manager for our operations in San Francisco and Berkeley.

About You:

This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences' RESPECT Service System.

About the Opportunity:

As an Event Manager, you will oversee the setup and execution of public lunch, brunch, and dinner cruises, as well as private chartered events.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with culinary staff, bartenders, and stewards to ensure guest expectations are exceeded.
  2. Supervise the training of service crew members.
  3. Regularly review and evaluate customer satisfaction through guest interactions and surveys.
  4. Assign and direct crew members in their work duties.
  5. Introduce and implement new marketing and/or operational policies to crew as required.
  6. Communicate supply needs, operational, and staff concerns to the Manager.
  7. This position reports to the Food & Beverage Manager and Director of Guest Services.
  8. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  1. At least 3 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
  2. Minimum 1 year as a Manager/Supervisor in Food & Beverage.
  3. Understanding of workplace safety standards and adherence to mandated protocols.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  5. Ability to acquire or possess a valid California Serve Safe certification, TWIC, and MMC.
