Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the restaurant's business plan and budget.
  • Responsible for inventory control and ordering supplies, food, and beverages necessary for operations.
  • Manage areas of responsibility to enhance the gaming experience at Live! Casino & Hotel, aiming to be the top gaming and entertainment venue in the Mid-Atlantic region.
  • Develop staff through training, conduct interviews, disciplinary counseling, and performance evaluations.
  • Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted employment levels. Delegate authority and responsibilities appropriately.
  • Coordinate with the Food and Beverage Director on departmental matters.
  • Implement programs to reduce and control workplace injuries.
  • Meet regularly with directors and managers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to analyze and interpret restaurant operational results.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of sanitation laws, health regulations, and OSHA standards.
  • Flexible work schedule.
  • Accuracy and efficiency in completing duties under pressure.

Qualifications

  • Preferred 5-7 years of restaurant management and supervisory experience.
  • Preferred a 4-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to comply with all state gaming regulations, including obtaining necessary licenses.
  • Alcohol Beverage Control card.
  • Applicable health certificates.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to move throughout a 100,000+ sq ft casino with urgency.
  • Handling, carrying, or lifting items up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand and sit for extended periods.
  • Use hands and fingers for handling and feeling; reach, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch as needed.
  • Visual acuity for reviewing documents and screens.
  • Navigate stairs and elevators multiple times daily.
