JOB SUMMARY

As our Lounge Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily lounge operations, ensuring all food and drinks meet quality standards, and that staff adhere to service steps while staying within budget.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

This summary highlights primary responsibilities and qualifications. The job may require additional duties now or in the future. The hotel operates 24/7, so shifts may vary in days, start times, and hours worked.

  1. Oversee daily operations through active presence on the lounge floor.
  2. Maintain knowledge of food and drink recipes; ensure staff execute standards.
  3. Manage food and beverage revenue and expenses accurately.
  4. Identify revenue opportunities, expenses, and potential issues.
  5. Create and distribute team member schedules promptly.
  6. Develop and implement marketing and sales plans, including menus, promotions, displays, and presentations, within brand and DHM guidelines to attract more guests and expand local market share.
  7. Ensure sanitation of food and beverage areas and equipment to protect assets, comply with regulations, and ensure quality service.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Previous experience in food and beverage operations.
  • Proficiency with POS systems.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage/hospitality principles, including management of people, complex problems, and operations.
  • Motivated team player with strong initiative and achievement drive.
  • Effective problem-solving skills in workplace situations.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations well.
  • Approachable and available to provide excellent guest service.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing this job, employees regularly stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. They may need to lift/move up to 10 pounds routinely and up to 25 pounds frequently.
