Job Summary

As our Lounge Manager, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the lounge, ensuring all food and drinks meet high-quality standards, and that staff adhere to service steps while staying within budget.

Essential Job Functions

This description summarizes primary responsibilities and qualifications. It does not include all duties or qualifications that may be required now or in the future. The hotel operates 24/7, so shifts may vary in days, times, and hours worked.

  • Oversee daily lounge operations through active presence on the floor.
  • Maintain knowledge of food and drink recipes; ensure staff executes to standards.
  • Manage food and beverage revenue and expenses accurately.
  • Identify revenue and expense opportunities and potential issues.
  • Create and distribute team member schedules promptly.
  • Develop and implement marketing and sales plans, including menus, promotions, displays, and decorations, within brand and DHM guidelines to attract more guests and increase market share.
  • Maintain sanitation of food and beverage areas and equipment to protect assets, comply with regulations, and ensure quality service.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Previous experience in food and beverage service.
  • Proficiency with POS systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of food and beverage management principles, including team management and problem-solving.
  • Motivated team player with initiative and achievement drive.
  • Effective in handling workplace problems by anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving issues.
  • Ability to perform well under stress.
  • Approachable and available for guests, providing excellent service.
Physical Demands

Regularly required to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Must lift/move up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds frequently.
