Being a Manager at Whataburger is an incredibly important job and is a key position for our operational success. The Manager’s role is essential to produce quality products, world class customer experiences, and team member retention. You’ll serve as both a restaurant leader and a team member. You’ll work hard to serve the customers in your restaurant and to make each individual on your team reach their fullest potential.

Responsibilities:

Assist Operating Partners in Daily Operations of a Multi-Million dollar business

Run Excellent Operations through floor management

Lead and Inspire Teams – Create an environment of service excellence with urgency

Provide Extraordinary Hospitality and Customer Service

Handles customer issues immediately with the upmost respect to the customer

Establish and maintain positive, professional, and effective working relationships

Be a Problem Solver

Food preparation and delivery – maintaining quality standards

Fiscal responsibilities

Maintain open and professional communication with management and team

Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards

Supports with hiring, scheduling, and conducts other restaurant administrative responsibilities

Achieve and Maintain Certifications

Requirements:

Must be able to stand during entire shift

Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, lift, shake, stir, pour, carry, and push

Must be able to read (orders on tickets, menu board, receipts, etc.)

Frequent contact/immersion of hands in water, cleaning and sanitation solutions, meat products, poultry products, seafood, and product items

Frequent washing of hands

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age

High school diploma/GED

Solid communication skills and the ability to build and maintain an effective working relationship with management and co-workers

Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with strong leadership skills

Experience in restaurant, retail or hospitality setting

Food Safety Certification preferred
