• Create a relaxed destination – Develop and streamline restaurant processes in partnership with the Restaurant General Manager, ensuring consistent execution of company policies and procedures.
• Set the course – Hire and mentor top talent, assist employees with career development, and uphold Tommy Bahama’s values in all business decisions to maintain our culture amid business evolution.
• Build the perfect oasis – Implement strategies and facilitate training programs that foster an environment for team members to promote sales, succeed in service, and grow internally.
• Support your crew – Collaborate with the Restaurant General Manager to improve employee retention and build bench strength through career development strategies.
• Proactive in Paradise – Seek marketing opportunities within the community and partner with Retail to leverage relationships during marketing and sales events.

ESSENTIALS FOR LIFE IN PARADISE

• 5+ years of hospitality-related experience
• 3+ years of restaurant management or leadership experience
• Current food handler’s card and other certifications as required by law
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage menus, ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven track record of increasing responsibility
• Comfortable with computers, including Windows, Microsoft Office, POS systems, and Outlook
• High school diploma or GED
• Willingness to perform other duties necessary to support the business

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Lift/move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently
• Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling
• Routine standing during shifts
• Operate equipment such as hand carts, blenders, knives, wine keys, and other tools listed in the training manual
• Scheduled shifts based on business needs
