RESTAURANT MANAGER | JOB DESCRIPTION

Reports to: General Manager | Location: Restaurant

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt | Compensation Range: $23.50-$25.00 per hour

About the Role: The Restaurant Manager’s primary responsibility is to assist and provide our guests with an exceptional dining experience through effective shift management and team development. This role involves partnering with the GM, AGM, and EKM to oversee planning, organizing, training, and development, as well as achieving objectives in finance, safety, quality, and restaurant culture.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead through service, support and empower the team, demonstrate integrity, values, and commitment.
  • Maintain a guest and team focus during each shift, demonstrating respect and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with managers and team members to achieve common goals.
  • Coach and lead teams through training, policy adherence, and service standards.
  • Master the Circle of Service, delegate tasks, and communicate effectively.
  • Engage with guests to exceed expectations and build relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Coordinate catering events and ensure legal standards are met.
  • Maintain cleanliness and a welcoming environment.
  • Manage safety policies and hold team accountable.
  • Ensure food and product quality according to standards.
  • Support achievement of sales, food cost, labor cost, and operating expenses goals.
  • Attend meetings, prepare schedules, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years in a high-volume role; experience in Fast Casual and catering preferred.
  • Positive, results-oriented, attentive, and available for team and guest issues.
  • Open to coaching, strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, love for people, food, and service.
