Job summary

The Wendy's Company is seeking a Restaurant Manager to support the General Manager by coaching the team and building a fun, respectful work environment. You will optimize staffing, scheduling, and everyday operations to drive sales and profits while maintaining food quality and service excellence.

You will lead training, staffing decisions, and administrative tasks, ensuring a top-tier guest experience across a bustling Wendy's location in Alabama.

Qualifications

• College Degree or equivalent experience in restaurant operations
• At least 1 year of line operations experience in the restaurant industry
• Must be able to perform all restaurant operations positions/functions
• Must possess a valid Driver's License in good standing

Responsibilities

• Support and develop the General Manager by coaching the team and creating a welcoming work environment
• Identify 5 Star Talent and place people in the right roles through scheduling
• Manage daily restaurant operations and staff in coordination with the General Manager
• Drive sales, staffing, hiring and training to run a great restaurant with top food quality, service and cleanliness
• Complete administrative tasks as required

What you'll do

The Restaurant Manager will support the General Manager by providing coaching to the team and creating a fun, inviting work environment where the team feels respected and valued. The Restaurant Manager will know how to Identify 5 Star Talent and how to put the right people in the right places at the right time through effective scheduling. With support of the General Manager or District Manager, the Restaurant Manager will manage the daily operations and staff of the restaurant. The Restaurant Manager position is a support and development position directly below the General Manager. The key team member in this position supports the restaurant Driving Sales and Profits, Staffing, Hiring and Training of team members, Running a Great Restaurant with Excellent Food Quality, Service and Cleanliness, Driving Teamwork and Completing Administrative tasks as required of the position.
