We are looking for a great Restaurant Manager & Supervisor to help with the expansion of our growing family unit.

• Up to £18.00 per hour Depending on experience.
• Busy Iconic Restaurant and Cocktail Bar.
• Capacity: 40 for lunch, 120+ for dinner.
• Full-time position available.
• Located in the Iconic Gantry Hotel in Stratford.
• 40/45 hours per week.

At Soul Mama, we strive to provide stellar dining & music experiences. We seek an experienced restaurant manager to oversee daily operations, hire and train staff, and maintain high food standards. The manager will develop a positive brand image through excellent customer service and strong knowledge of restaurant protocols, contributing to the growth and success of our restaurant and employees.

Objectives of this role

• Oversee restaurant operations for smooth flow.
• Maintain a positive restaurant culture.
• Create work schedules aligned with restaurant needs.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene regulations.
• Train new staff to meet expectations.
• Interact with diners and build rapport.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily restaurant operations.
• Supervise kitchen and waitstaff, providing feedback.
• Report weekly KPIs (labour costs, GP, sales forecast, reviews).
• Communicate with diners and resolve conflicts.
• Oversee stock of bar & kitchen.
• Manage payroll costs weekly and monthly.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience in a restaurant setting.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Understanding of financial management.
• Knowledge of restaurant management software.
• Willing to work flexible hours.
