This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not Jack in the Box Inc. The franchisee is responsible for employment matters, including requirements, hiring, firing, wages, and staffing decisions.

Position Summary

Responsible for managing the overall operations of a Jack in the Box restaurant, leading staff to deliver excellent guest experiences, ensuring quality food, service, cleanliness, and safety, and building sales and profits.

Key Duties/Responsibilities

• Set an example in customer service by maintaining visibility and engaging with guests.
• Maintain a guest-first attitude, be friendly, polite, and welcoming.
• Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and respond professionally to guest concerns.
• Create a positive, safe, and fun work environment, treating employees with respect.
• Motivate and develop staff, recognize performance, and foster internal promotions.
• Communicate effectively, remain calm under pressure, and accept feedback.
• Recruit, train, evaluate, and schedule employees, ensuring sufficient staffing.
• Implement training systems and develop internal candidates for advancement.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow operational procedures.
• Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends and implement improvements.
• Focus on increasing sales and profitability while managing costs.
• Make informed decisions aligned with company policies and community standards.

Qualifications

• Internal promotion preferred; experience as a Team Member, Team Leader, or Assistant Manager.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year as a JIB Assistant Manager or similar experience.
• Certification in all workstations, ServSafe certification, and valid driver’s license.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a minimum of 45 hours/week, including weekends and holidays.

Pay range: $47,500 - $50,000 + bonus (based on experience).
