Job summary

Winvian Farm in Morris, CT seeks an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to oversee our fine dining restaurant. This leadership role requires a passion for luxury guest service, extensive wine knowledge, and the ability to elevate service standards in all dining areas.

You will lead front-of-house operations, mentor staff, curate the wine program, manage reservations and cost controls, and partner with culinary leadership to deliver memorable wine-and-dine experiences while ensuring compliance

Responsibilities

• Oversee all front-of-house operations including restaurant, bar, wine service, and events.

• Manage daily dining room operations including reservations, staffing, service flow, and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain and enhance the wine program, including wine list curation, cellar management, and pairings.
• Provide expert wine recommendations and education for staff.
• Monitor inventory, beverage costs, labor costs, and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and liquor regulations.
• Collaborate with culinary leadership to create seasonal wine-and-dine experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of restaurant management experience in a fine dining restaurant.
