Winvian Farm in Morris, CT seeks an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to oversee our fine dining restaurant. This leadership role requires a passion for luxury guest service, extensive wine knowledge, and the ability to elevate service standards in all dining areas.

You will lead front-of-house operations, mentor staff, curate the wine program, manage reservations and cost controls, and partner with culinary leadership to deliver memorable wine-and-dine experiences while ensuring compliance

Qualifications

5+ years of restaurant management in fine dining.
Strong wine knowledge.
Leadership and team development skills.
Experience managing budgets, inventories, scheduling, and operational costs.
Exceptional communication, organizational, and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee all front-of-house operations including restaurant, bar, wine service, and events.
Lead, mentor, and develop restaurant, bar, and service staff.
Ensure exceptional guest experiences through attentive, personalized service.
Manage daily dining room operations including reservations, staffing, service flow, and guest satisfaction.
Maintain and enhance the wine program, including wine list curation, cellar management, and pairings.
Provide expert wine recommendations and education for staff.
Monitor inventory, beverage costs, labor costs, and budgets.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and liquor regulations.
Collaborate with culinary leadership to create seasonal wine-and-dine experiences.
Maintain impeccable service, cleanliness, and presentation across dining areas.
