In the heart of Minneapolis, inside Emery, Autograph Collection Hotel, nestled among natural light and fresh foliage, you will discover Giulia—a restaurant in partnership with James Beard Finalist Chef Steven Brown focusing on Northern Italian cuisine. Our open kitchen allows for views of small plates, fresh-made pasta, and oven-fired pizzas prepared with local-minded ingredients. Our innovative bar program features intensely Italian wines, an extensive amari list, and small batch cocktails made with local craft spirits.

We are seeking an energetic and experienced individual who can inspire a team, drive guest satisfaction, and ensure the smooth operation of our restaurant.

Summary:

  • Lead and manage the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction

  • Monitor and maintain food quality, presentation, and consistency to uphold our reputation for culinary excellence
  • Implement effective marketing and sales strategies to attract guests and increase revenue
  • Monitor financial performance, control costs, and optimize profitability
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Stay updated with industry trends and make recommendations for menu enhancements and improvements

Qualifications
  • 4 years experience in the food and beverage industry
  • Six months to one year in a management position
  • Ability to schedule, forecast, and budget department
  • Some wine and fine food knowledge helpful
  • Read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other Team Members
  • Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable
