The Westin Memphis Beale Street Hotel – Courtside Grill in Memphis, TN seeks a Restaurant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, guest relations, and staff coordination.

You will act as manager on duty, help train staff, manage shifts, assist in food prep during peak times, and ensure compliance with health and safety codes. This is a full-time role with $25 per hour and benefits.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-year minimum previous kitchen/cook experience in a hotel restaurant or full-service restaurant.
• Ability to provide proof of or to obtain a TN Alcoholic Beverage Commission Server Permit after start of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Act as Manager on duty, overseeing daily restaurant operations and resolving guest and staff relations.
• Assist with communicating job/shift expectations, training, handle shift callouts, and issue feedback directly to the Restaurant General Manager.
• Step into critical front and back end of house roles during staffing shortages, high volume demands, by assisting with food preparations, cooking, and guest service to maintain uninterrupted business operations.
• Maintain inventory PAR control for the restaurant’s inventory (food, beverages, liquor, beer, wine, operational supplies, etc.).
• Assist with Point-of-Sale programming and Manager transactions processing.
• Enforce Health Department codes, strict food sanitation procedures, TN Alcohol Commission (TNABC) laws, Marriott brand standards, safety standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with the Restaurant General Manager, to maintain the Food & Beverage menu.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
• Must possess a positive attitude and work well with other team members.
• Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
• Must be able to safely lift and easily maneuver items frequently weighing up to 20 to 25 pounds.

Summary of Position
