Job summary

Bonita Bay Club in Florida is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead service staff and ensure a premier member dining experience across à la carte and catering events.

You will train staff, monitor service standards, coordinate special events, work with suppliers, and deliver outstanding customer service to Members and guests. The role requires 5+ years in event or food-management, and flexibility to work nights, holidays, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 5 years of event or food-management experience.
• Requires 2 years in a food & beverage management role.
• Must be highly organized, accurate, and task-oriented.
• Ability to work nights, holidays, and weekends as required.
• Independent decision making and creative problem solving.
• Excellent written, oral, and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RESTAURANT MANAGER:

Bonita Bay Club's Restaurant Manager will be responsible for training and supervising service personnel and will be accountable for a positive member restaurant experience. The Restaurant Manager will positively motivate service staff and coordinate a smooth and timely service delivery of quality food and beverage, in both à la carte and catering environments. It will be your job to monitor service standards, oversee service staff, assist in special events and holiday events, and work closely with suppliers and vendors. The Restaurant Manager is responsible for training staff and providing excellent customer service to Club Members & guests.

JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Requires a minimum of 5 years of previous event or food-management experience
• Must have 2 years of experience in a food and beverage management role.
• Must be highly organized, accurate, and task-oriented
• Must be able to work nights, holidays, and weekends, as required
• Must have the ability to make independent decisions and be a creative problem solver
• Requires excellent written, oral, and customer service skills
• Must be able to work for long periods of time on their feet and have the ability to carry up to 40 lbs.
