We’re seeking an experienced, hospitality-driven Restaurant Manager to help lead our team with warmth, precision, and purpose. This role is vital in delivering an exceptional guest experience while fostering a collaborative, positive work environment for our team. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring smooth daily operations, championing our culture of Southern hospitality, and empowering team members to grow and thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Hospitality Leadership: Champion a culture of hospitality and service excellence, ensuring every guest feels welcomed, cared for, and valued from arrival to departure.
  2. Team Experience: Inspire, coach, and support team members to deliver heartfelt service, maintain high standards, and enjoy a fulfilling work environment.
  3. Daily Operations: Oversee and coordinate daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations to ensure efficient, high-quality service and smooth guest flow.
  4. Training & Development: Lead by example and provide ongoing training in hospitality standards, menu knowledge, and service techniques. Support professional development and encourage career growth.
  5. Guest Experience Oversight: Resolve guest concerns with empathy and swift action; identify opportunities to enhance overall dining experience.
  6. Staff Scheduling & Management: Create and manage team schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and a healthy work-life balance for employees.
  7. Culture & Morale: Partner with the General Manager to promote a positive, respectful, and inclusive culture grounded in Yardbird’s core values.
  8. Brand Representation: Represent Yardbird in the community through local outreach, events, and creating memorable guest experiences that drive repeat business.
  9. Quality Control: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, presentation, and professionalism throughout the restaurant.
  10. Reporting & Inventory: Track key metrics and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Manage inventory and ordering to control costs and maintain quality.
Qualifications
  1. Degree or certification in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience in restaurant management with a strong focus on guest service
  3. Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team
  4. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS systems; knowledgeable in F&B quality standards and safety protocols
  6. Valid Food Handler Card (required upon employment)
  7. Energetic, guest-centric mindset with a passion for building meaningful connections
