Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking a Restaurant Manager in Gainesville, FL to oversee daily dining room operations and ensure outstanding resident and guest experiences. You will coordinate with other department managers, enforce policies, and lead staff engagement while being on the floor during meal service.

The role requires at least three years of progressive responsibility in relevant settings and a commitment to high service standards within a large senior living community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years' progressive responsibility in a full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club/hotel, or cruise line environment.

Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Restaurant Manager position.

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and supervising the daily operations of the dining rooms and restaurants to ensure staff provide residents and guests with a pleasant dining experience. Works in conjunction with other department managers. Enforces all policies including, but not limited to employee appearance, attendance and punctuality, service standards, and completion of job duties. Holds regular department meetings and drives employee engagement and retention. This position requires the manager to be on the floor during meal service.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of three years' progressive responsibility in a full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club/hotel, or cruise line environment

Pay Range

$58,350.00 - $74,463.00 / year. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
