Job summary

Panera Bread is seeking a Team Manager to lead the bakery-cafe’s daily operations in a fast-paced setting. You will manage shifts, coach staff, and ensure guests receive high-quality food and service while meeting performance targets.

Responsibilities include interviewing candidates, training in food safety, and building a welcoming culture. Availability for nights and weekends is required, with a focus on teamwork and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• 1+ years of restaurant management experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead shifts and motivate others in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain) required.

Responsibilities

• Delight guests with food quality, service, and staff.
• Lead, manage and develop team members by coaching and motivating them to exceed sales, speed and accuracy goals.
• Participate in interviewing and selection of new staff.

As a Team Manager, you’ll be part of the bakery-cafe’s leadership team, helping to run great shifts, support team development, and maintain the high standards our guests expect.
