Job summary

Mighty Fine Burgers, Fries & Shakes is hiring a Restaurant Assistant Manager to oversee FOH & BOH operations, ensuring guest service and food quality standards are met. You should be available to work during opening hours, weekends and holidays, and help minimize costs while boosting employee retention.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in restaurant leadership, familiarity with Aloha/Toast, solid math and reporting skills, and a high school diploma; hospitality certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in restaurant leadership preferred.
• Familiarity with restaurant management software like Aloha/Toast.
• Good math and reporting skills; strong customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front- and back-of-house operations to ensure guest service and quality.
• Lead the team to meet standards and work within opening hours, including weekends and holidays.

Restaurant Assistant Manager

As one of our restaurant leaders, you will oversee FOH & BOH operations to ensure guest service & food quality standards are upheld at all times. To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with restaurant operations and have a good understanding of what makes a great customer service. You should also be available to work within opening hours, including weekends and holidays. Ultimately, you will help minimize operating costs, boost our employee retention and deliver a positive dining experience for our guests.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Restaurant Assistant Manager or similar experience in the hospitality industry preferred
• Familiarity with restaurant management software, like Aloha/Toast
• Good math and reporting skills
• Customer service attitude
• Communication and team management abilities
• Availability to work within opening hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends)
• High school diploma; additional certification in hospitality is a plus
