Job summary

McDonald’s Maintenance Person position in an Illinois restaurant requires upkeeping interior and exterior areas and restaurant equipment. You will work as part of the Maintenance Team to support cleanliness, safety, and smooth operation of the dining area and kitchen facilities.

The role emphasizes daily responsibilities such as oil fryer filtration, grounds maintenance, and routine preventative maintenance on equipment, while offering benefits like paid vacation and education through Archways

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Aptitude for tools, equipment, and facilities care.
• General experience with tools and equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Filtering oil fryers daily
• Maintaining grounds and the building exterior - sweeping, powerwashing, changing trash, interior and exterior windows, cleaning signage and fixtures
• Execute daily equipment cleaning as well as weekly, monthly, and quarterly preventative maintenance on restaurant equipment
• Tracks and reports on task completion
• Clean HVAC/Exhaust units weekly and/or monthly, maintain roof cleanliness
