Bulldog Restaurants, LLC - a Burger King Franchisee is seeking a skilled Restaurant Maintenance Technician to maintain equipment across Burger King locations in the Greater Birmingham Area. The role supports the team, protects the guest experience, and ensures safe, efficient operations.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience with electrical, plumbing, and mechanical troubleshooting, plus any HVAC/refrigeration familiarity.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a restaurant or commercial setting.
• Proficient in electrical, plumbing and mechanical troubleshooting.
• QSR experience is a plus; HVAC or refrigeration familiarity preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and respond to early-morning or off-hours needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair kitchen equipment including broilers, fryers, refrigeration, and ice machines.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and minor plumbing issues.
• Execute daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance routines.
• Maintain service logs and coordinate with vendors for major repairs.
• Uphold interior and exterior facilities including lighting, HVAC, plumbing, and dining areas.
• Support inspection readiness for health, safety, and brand standards.
• Communicate equipment status and priorities with General Managers.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Strong sense of urgency and accountability - you understand that downtime affects everyone
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and communicate clearly with non-technical teams
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and available for early morning or off‑hours maintenance as needed
