Job summary

The Maintenance Person at a McDonald’s franchise location in New Britain, CT, supports management by keeping the restaurant interior and exterior clean and ensuring equipment is well maintained. You will work as part of the Maintenance Team to uphold food safety standards and a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include daily fryer oil filtering, grounds upkeep, cleaning equipment and facilities, unloading deliveries twice a week, and replacing lights.

Qualifications

• Maintains interior and exterior cleanliness and ensures restaurant equipment is in good condition.
• Performs routine maintenance tasks to support a clean and safe dining environment.
• Collaborates with team to meet operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Filtering oil fryers daily
• Maintaining outside grounds
• Clean equipment, inside and outside windows, stock rooms and restrooms
• Unload delivery truck 2 times a week
• Take out and empty trash compactor
• Change light bulbs
• Clean HVAC/Exhaust units and roof of debris
