McDonald’s in Athol, MA is seeking a Maintenance Person to support a franchise-owned restaurant. You’ll help keep the dining area and back-of-house clean, ensure equipment runs smoothly, and assist management with daily operations.

This role focuses on hands-on tasks such as cleaning, grounds upkeep, basic electrical and HVAC care, and assisting with deliveries. Opportunities for training and benefits are provided by the franchisee.

Qualifications

• Maintenance role focused on interior and exterior cleanliness and equipment upkeep.
• Responsibilities may include unloading deliveries and general site upkeep.
• Role supports management to keep restaurant clean and functioning.

Responsibilities

• Filter oil fryers daily.
• Maintain outside grounds.
• Clean equipment, windows, stock rooms and restrooms.
• Unload delivery truck twice a week.
• Take out and empty trash compactor.
• Change light bulbs.
• Clean HVAC/Exhaust units and roof debris.
