Job Description

The Grande Dame is now hiring for a Banquet Production Cook. Come and join the #1 Hotel in the City of Pittsburgh and her Team!

Responsibilities

The Hotel Line Cook is responsible for cooking, controlling quality and consistency of all food produced and served in the Hotel Restaurant Outlets. Ensure station is set for service 15 minutes prior to service and all food supplies necessary for service are in appropriate supply on a timely basis. Required to learn all menu items produced by assigned stations and understand & fulfill Guest Orders. This person would be responsible for production of orders in a timely manner.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must:

1. Be able to work PM shift as late as 2am; flexibility to work other shifts if needed.
2. Be available to work weekends and holidays.
3. Have previous line cook experience in a fast-paced atmosphere; previous hotel experience is preferred.
4. Be able to stand, walk, reach, and/or lift up to 50 lbs throughout shift.
5. Provide Food handlers Serve Safe certification upon hire.

Union Contract rates: $17.70 first 3 months/ $18.69 after 3 months/ $19.67 after 6 months. Upscale restaurant cooking experience is preferred.
